Every player in World of Wacraft wants just 2 things. One, tons and tons of gold and two knowledge about how to speed level in wow to level 70 faster then anyone else in their guild. 1. Have Decent Bags.
If you don't have enough bag slots, you'll be forever running back into town to empty your bags by selling off your stuff. This is a huge time waster. The easiest way to overcome this is when you create a new toon, have your higher level alts send them the biggest bags they can use for their level and fill up all the bag slots for that new toon. This is will save you a ton of time as you can now concentrate on finishing more quests without having to go back to town every 10 minutes. The benefit is when you do go back to town because all those bags are now full you'll not only be selling off all this stuff for great gold, but also handing in all multiple quests at once. It'll be ding, ding, ding! Multiple level gains instantly.

2. Stop Alt Tabbing.
Alt tabbing is habit forming and while you may think your making efficient use of your game time, the truth is your not, in fact your wasting it. Yes the Alt+Tab tactic may only take a few moments, but add all those wasted moments up over the course of several levels and you've easily wasted enough time to amount to a couple levels just my employing this time sucking habit. So the answer, drop alt+tabbing like the bad habit that it is.

3. Use a Guide.
Now the main downfall for most guides is that they actually encourage bad playing habits, like Alt+tabbing. It is so tempting when you get stuck to Alt+Tab over to your guide to get the information you want. After all isn't that the way you should play with a guide?
